For newly vaccinated cats this must be completed at least 5 weeks prior to their stay. If this is not possible, the documents shall be brought with the cat(s) and will be inspected on arrival. We reserve the right to refuse entry to cats whose vaccines, flea and worming treatments are not up to date.
3. Flea and Worming Treatments
All cats must be up to date with flea and worming treatments. You will need to tell us what flea and worming treatments you have administered and when. Please ensure that your cat(s) are treated for fleas and worms at least three days before their stay. We request that flea and worming treatments used should be those recommended by a licensed veterinary practice and not over the counter remedies.
If your cat shows signs of fleas or worms we will contact your vet for treatment recommendations and you will be liable for any fees incurred.
We do not administer injections for diabetes or any other medical conditions.
All oral medications to be administered and specialist/prescription diets must be clearly marked with the cat’s name, instructions for use, dosage rates and times, and accompanied by details of the condition being treated.
If we are at all concerned about the health of your cat(s), we will contact a vet preferably your own. Vets fees incurred due to a pre-existing condition or unrelated to their stay will be the responsibility of the owner. Veterinary advice will be the deciding factor.
At the time of booking please make us aware of any medical history or special needs/diets required at the time of boarding.
Public liability insurance is provided although it is always advisable that cats are individually insured by their owners.
